We believe that a healthy infrastructure, including our highways, bridges, and rail and ferry systems are essential to the economic wellbeing of our state.

We urge immediately identifying and prioritizing transportation problems in Washington State and establishing a viable funding plan to resolve them.

Skagit Democrats call on the Washington State Department of Transportation and the State Legislature to end discriminatory toll roads, lanes, and bridges.

We support:

• Calling on the State Legislature to end discriminatory toll roads, lanes and bridges;
• Calling on the State Legislature to end the hundreds of tax breaks totaling $6 billion that benefit wealthy domestic and foreign stockholders:
• And instead using the resultant revenue stream to offset State budgetary needs.
